THE GENERAL DATA

Correctly put on seat belts keep the driver and passengers in a sitting position. Belts substantially reduce energy of movement which is extinguished at collision and by that prevent uncontrollable ejection of the driver and passengers from their places in which result probably drawing of serious traumas.

Energy of movement of the driver and passengers with correctly put on seat belts appreciably is transferred through seat belts to a car body. And the movement total energy is extinguished at face-to-face blow by a car skeleton thanking special power absorbing structure of a forward part of the car and other constructive measures of passive safety. Thereby forces which can throw out the driver and passengers from their seats, essentially decrease, thanks to what the risk of reception of serious traumas decreases.
