Elements of adjustment of light of headlights

1 – the screw of horizontal adjustment, 2 – the screw of vertical adjustment

Correct adjustment of light of headlights is of great importance for traffic safety. Exact adjustment is possible only by means of the special device.

Before carrying out of adjustment of light of headlights it is necessary to satisfy following conditions:

  – Pressure in tyres should correspond to norm;
  – The car should be completely filled by fuel;
  – Not loaded car should have loading on a forward seat of 75 kg (one person);
  – Some times strongly to rock the car that amortisation elements of a forward suspension bracket were correctly established;
  – If is available, to establish adjustment of range of illumination on the panel of devices on 0.

Adjustment is made by rotation of the regulator located in a back part of a headlight. The external regulator changes a direction of a stream of light on height, and an internal regulator – across.

Each headlight is equipped by the proof-reader of light of headlights that allows to regulate light of headlights depending on car loading.

Position 1 – without cargo.
Position 2 – average cargo.
Position 3 – the maximum cargo.

THE PROOF-READER ESTABLISHED ON THE HEADLIGHT (MODEL SINCE 1993)

Position 1 – the occupied lobbies of sitting.
Position 2 – all are occupied sitting and a luggage space.
Position 3 – the driver and a luggage space.

Position 0 – the occupied lobbies of sitting.
Position 1 – all are occupied sitting.
Position 2 – all are occupied sitting and a luggage space.
